Full or Nothing

Full or Nothing draws on the shifting perspectives of Chinese landscape painting, moving between an overhead view of water and the frontal expanse of a snow-covered mountain. Within the landscape, projected figures gradually appear and ski across the surface, introducing movement and time into an otherwise suspended space. The work revisits the idea of “deep distance” (深远), allowing depth to emerge through changes in viewpoint, scale, and movement rather than through a single fixed perspective.
