BIO
Lucy Du is a multidisciplinary artist working across film, theatre, installation, and painting. Her practice constructs spatial environments in which familiar places and everyday materials are subtly reconfigured, shifting perception and destabilizing what appears real.
Through light, scale, material, and spatial arrangement, she builds environments where natural and artificial elements coexist and where surfaces begin to misalign or behave unexpectedly. These works often hold moments of transition, making time visible through small disruptions in space and material.
Rather than illustrating narratives, her work stages perception itself as an experience, asking how meaning is formed through looking, memory, and spatial encounter.
Her interdisciplinary practice includes contributions to Blind Massage (Silver Bear, Berlin International Film Festival) and The Breaking Ice (Official Selection, Cannes Film Festival), alongside ongoing work in contemporary theatre and installation-based environments.
